I have these under my 20+ year old washing machine. Shaking is now history, and I no longer have to worry about bugging my downstairs neighbors (one of many problems with living in a condo).

One thing that may not be clear from the pictures is that the color (blue in this case) is only on the very bottom (most of the feet are still black), so when these are sitting under your washing machine, no one is going to notice it.

Maytag : MAH2400AWW Compact Washer - White Review

I purchased this washer 28 months ago and have had to replace the door twice since. The cheap plastic door frame is all that holds the door onto the metal hinges. We have no children in the house and there is no abuse to the door other than normal open/closing so over time the cheap plastic cracks around the top hinge (in my case) and there's nothing holding the door onto the hinge now so it hangs when you open it. Eventually the whole frame cracks and the door has to be replaced. It's costly and ridiculous that you have to throw an otherwise good door into the landfill every year. Disappointed with this product and should have done more research before buying it becasue there are many bad reviews online for this product. Do yourself a favor and look at another front load space saving washer before purchasing.

Danby Twin Tub Laundry Review

We had problems with a longer delvery time than initially promised. Company took an interest in resolving this problem.
The unit is reliable and cleans nicely. It is very easy to use and is lightweight.
We do have an issuewith the spinner "rattling" and making noise.
With 2 babies in the household, we save money by not using a laundromat.

LG WM2050CW 4.0 cu.ft. Large Capacity Front Load Washer (White) Review

I installed an LG wm2050cw, it is quiet and washes well.There was a software upgrade LG has done to models that now ship.I would prefer a longer spin cycle option, as I sometimes manually run an extra spin to really dry my clothes more, but it has the ability to do it.I bought it for under six hundred with tax and install, from a local "orange" big box store.Santa fe, NM also offered a four hundred eighty dollar credit, so it cost me in the end about one hundred sheets of paper.I also bought a basic GE gas dryer, and put both on pedestals I bought at an online auction site.With a little creativity it all worked out great.

The only downside is the door swings out a ways when you leave it open to dry the tub, some other models I looked at the door was stiffer and stayed where you put it.But the overall quality compared to the other models and the long 10 year warranty on the motor, lifetime tub, outweighed the inconvience.I also attach a bungee cord to the pedestal and it keeps the door tight when left open.If you obsessed with looks you may not like this.I like the functionality of it, even the delivery man said he never picks up LG washers for defects, but often picks up other higher rated well known brands, no regrets!

I guess though, you could always in anything get a lemon, but so far I have a peachy set up.

One last thing I went through customer service to confirm my serial number had the software upgrade, the call started overseas, collected some info, transfered me to someone in the states, checked my serial number, confirmed update, total call time under ten minutes.I did not need service, but they seemed fast and informed.

Washing Machine KE Shake Away Plus Pads Vibration Pads Super Duty Version Review

These pads do help a lot, but they can't do all the work. I have learned that your washing machine has to be balanced and you can't do this with just a level on top of the machine. Level out the machine as best as you can then run the machine in spin mode and feel each foot. If one is vibrating more than the others, adjust it (usually down), then repeat and repeat. It is real trial and error exercise with a lot of time, laying on the floor, cursing, forgetting which foot you moved last..., but it absolutely pays off. I did this and use these pads and it really helped.

Danby Portable Top-Load Washer Review

I bought this washer 2 years ago and it is still working great. I had no problems installing it at all despite of the fact that I am a woman:-) It is big enough for 2 people and I had even washed blankets in it. It is easy to wheel it all over the place as long as you don't have carpets in the bathroom or the kitchen:-) I thought that it will be noisy but is actually quiet and it is easy to connect to the sink. The only problem I had (which is more of a problem with my sink faucet than with the machine) is that sometimes it leaks from the faucet but once I replaced the rubber circle inside of the connector it was great. Before the replacement I just stopped the water flow once the machine was full and washing. And I have a portable dishwasher which connects to the same sink using the same adapter so there is no need to change it if you have more than one appliance.

I have to admit I was a bit skeptical when I saw the breathing mobile
washer but I wanted to get something just in case of a power outage or

I'm on a well and we have a lot of sediment in our water.So much sediment that we have to remove the factory installed screen on our clothes washer twice each time we wash a load of clothes.This is essentially a larger screen (trap), but more accessible and with a fibrous material included (filter).It might be a bit too restrictive for my needs.I like the product, and it's built well (solid and simple, PVC, easily disassembled/reassembled), but I'm not convinced it's any better than a pressure washer inline filter (green cap), and those have a more accessible filter if, like me, you need to remove it often.

They appologize that they don't stand behind quality but there is nothing you can do, so if you want and ready to buy Avanti on a yearly basis , it most definately lasts a year, I called mechanic only 2 times to get it fixed within the 1st year.
other then that, Avanti machines have another exellent feather, each wash takes forever about 30-40 min considering it's a very small machine, so its implied for those who have $300/year to buy on yearly basis and those who have plenty of time to wait for each small wash. Another feature i would like to point out is leakage from the bottom, as mechanic said "it's manufactured like this" it's non fixable, so in other words, once the wash goes on it leaks downstairs, it ruins my floor but the best part, if you don't like your downstairs neighbor you definately give them a problem of leekage from top.
when you speak to customer service, they are great with their responses "sorry unfortunately nothing can be done"

Silent Feet - Anti-vibration Pads for Washing Machines and Dryers Review

I recently bought a used front load "super high effeciency" washing-machine and dryer set made by LG.I have an LG dishwasher and have been very impressed with how quiet and well it works.

When I first used the new washing machine, it was reasonably quiet, except for when spinning.It is up on 14 inch tall pedestals, and when the spin cycle started, it jumped all around. Also it was shaking my whole house, making paintings, even in non-adjacent rooms, rattle on the wall.

My wife was afraid of it and refused to even do laundry.I assumed I was going to have to sell it again, probably at a loss, and buy something else.But, first I convinced my wife to let me try a few things, such as these feet.

I orderred these feet, then while waiting, I also put two 30 pound cat litter buckets on the washing machine, this stopped it jumping around, but it still shook the entire house.

Today these feet arrived, they are really well designed.The box has two pair of feet, a "sliding" pair for the back feet, and a "sticky" pair for the front feet.You put the "sliding" pair under the back feet, so you can then adjust the position before installing the front "sticky" pair.The result is your machine can't slide once setup.This alone is handy.Best of all, they actually successfully damp the vibrations so that my wife didn't even hear the washing machine running spin cycle on the "high" speed when sitting down-stairs, directly under it.

Alas, they are not complete miracle workers.If I remove the two 30 pound cat litter buckets, the washing machine starts bouncing up off the feet still, and thus makes lots of noise.BUT, with the extra 60lbs of weight, and these feet, what was once impossibly loud, is now nearly silent, and my house is once again stable, no bouncing paintings or photos.

HIGHLY recommended.

Samsung : WF328AAW 4.0 cu. ft. Front Load Washer - Neat White Review

I did a lot of research before buying this item.It is installed in a new upstairs laundry so vibration and noise were a huge consideration.I was leaning towards the LG but it has steam clean and the Samsung offered silver care.I was not at all convinced that silver care would do any good but I knew that I would not use the stean clean( too hard on clothes).Turns out silver care kills bacteria and everything comes out smelling clean.The VRT really reduces vibration.I am very pleased with this product.

Anti-walk Silent Feet (Twin Pack) - Vibration Isolation Pads for Washing Machines and Dryers Review

I have a Front Loading Washing Machine in my Kitchen, in a House that was built in 1900. I originally used the Vibration Pads made by Derens/GE, which was offered when I bought my GE Washer. These are made of what appears to be Hard Rubber, with a light tread on the bottom for grip. These Vibration Pads worked somewhat, but not that great, and my Washer would move (Rotate) on the floor during the spin cycle. The vibration would also cause the Dryer to move as well! The fact that I have Vinyl Floors in my Kitchen didn't help. I read a lot of good stuff about the Anti-Walk Silent Feet, and how they were suppose to prevent Washer movement, and reduce vibration and structural damage. Since using them, I have seen much improvement, my Washer and Dryer don't move, and the vibration has been reduced. My kitchen still shakes, and my faucet on sink still bobs up and down, but it is better than before. The material that is used really holds on to the Vinyl Floor, you would have to grab it and pull it up off the floor. The material in the cup itself feels like gritty stone, and that prevents the Washer feet from sliding in the cup. Something to consider if you decide to purchase this, is that unless you can get around all sides of your Washing machine, you may have a tough using these because you won't be able to slide your machine out and back after you put them on.

I had yellow stains inside my less than two year old washer... presumably rust, though I'm not sure... and was hesitant to use a rust remover for fear that it would eat away the finish.
