Whirlpool WHIRLPOOL 8574963 WASHER/DRYER CONTROL KNOB ASSEMBLY Review

The item itself is great. You just snap it in place and that's it. I have no problem with it since I purchased it in May of last year. I bought this knob to replace the original knob on my Whirlpool front load washer. Unfortunately, now it's my dryer knob that needs replacing. It's just sad that Whirlpool made crappy knobs for a very expensive washer and dryer. Anyway, I would have given it 5 stars. However, for a small plastic knob, it cost a lot especially the ridiculous shipping and handling charges. It is less than 13 ounces. The replacement knob I bought at [...] last year cost [...] plus [...] shipping and handling fee that totaled to [...]. Now, they're selling it for [...] with the same shipping and handling fee that totals to [...]!!!! Imagine how much it'll cost next year. Overall, I would recommend buying this replacement knob to Whirlpool washer and dryer owners. Make sure you buy 2 as the prices go up every year.
